Our sessions are a safe, fun space where children can explore their feelings and discover the power of their breath.

Talking about big feelings – We begin by chatting together about the kinds of emotions we all experience, like excitement, worry, frustration, or sadness. Children learn that all feelings are normal and part of being human. We talk about how we can regulate our nervous system and what all these big words mean.

Activities & journaling – Through movement, drawing, colouring, or simple journaling prompts, children get the chance to express what’s going on inside in a creative, playful way.

Story time – We read one of our ocean or jungle themed stories (more stories coming soon), where characters like Flo the Jellyfish or Toby the Tiger face challenges and use special breathing techniques to help themselves feel calm and strong again.

Breathwork practice – Finally, we practise a breathing exercise together, whether it’s blowing bubbles like a pufferfish, rising and falling like gentle waves, or swinging through the trees like a monkey. Children get to try it out for themselves and feel how their bodies and minds respond.

By the end of the session, children leave with the knowledge of how to use the one tool they carry with them every day their breath to calm their bodies, steady their minds, and feel more confident when “big emotions” arise.

I bought these breathwork cards for my 3 year old (and the 1 year old curiously watching for now) they’ve been a really useful and effective way of introducing and reminding my son of the power of breathwork to help him manage his ‘big emotions’. We mainly practice when tantrums or meltdowns aren’t around but instead help him to be a great brother, run faster or get to sleep. We know this will become a really useful tool for self awareness and giving him the confidence to manage his own emotions in time.

What stands out is how grounded and practical these teen sport and exam cards feel. So much teen wellbeing talk drifts into slogans, but this actually gives young people something they can use in the moment, not abstract resilience, but a way to steady their body when pressure spikes. The blend of, ‘I can….’ language, clear science and real life scenarios make it feel accessible rather than overwhelming and it respects teens as capable learners who deserve to understand why a strategy works, not just to be told to “calm down”. It’s the kind of preventative support schools and sports settings keep saying they want: simple, teachable and rooted in regulation rather than performance.

Mums these cards are just as much for you as the children! My three year old even got the hang of it so quickly and enjoys the cards.

I have a deep feeling kid and my deep feeling kid really needed these cards tonight. Thank you Sarah!

We couldn’t be more grateful for Sarah, and her unrivalled understanding of what makes children tick. We bought her breathwork cards for our three young children, which they were very excited about. However, the thing that really captured their attention was the little toy turtles that Sarah kindly popped into the parcel. They immediately adopted one each, and regularly bathe and exercise them in the sink. Our youngest now won’t let hers go, has named her Staven, and she goes everywhere with us, even on our two week holiday to France. She fits in the tiniest of pockets, is a firm family favourite and brings great comfort and conversation.
