Meet Sarah

Who I Am
My name is Sarah, and I’m the founder of Breathwork for Children. I’m a wife, mum of two, and someone who has always been passionate about helping children feel supported, calm, and confident. Living by the sea in Swansea has inspired much of my work, weaving in initially ocean-themed stories and characters to make breathwork fun and accessible.
My Experience
I have spent many years teaching and supporting children across a wide range of ages and abilities. From early years to secondary, and including children with additional needs, I’ve seen first-hand the different ways children learn, express themselves, and respond to challenges. My teaching has taken me into classrooms, small groups, and one-to-one support as well as tutoring and home schooling, always with a focus on meeting each child where they are.
Why Breathwork
Through this experience and becoming a breathwork with children facilitator, I realised how powerful simple breathing tools can be in helping children regulate their nervous systems, manage big emotions, and build resilience. By combining storytelling, playful activities, and practical breathwork, I’ve created resources and sessions that not only support children but also empower parents, carers, and teachers to use these techniques every day.
